2. Determination of the susceptibility of the Minestones to spontaneous combustion project for British Coal, Minestones service, 1987. a project report was presented to British Coal.
3. Sawability and drillability of various rocks concerning techniques of rock cutting and statistical analysis of the test results. Project was carried out for De Beers International and a report was presented, 1987.
4. Determination of index rock properties to improve the efficiency of road headers and tunnelling equipment. The project was carried out for Dosco Company, 1988.
